报告摘要：  

With the advancement of quantum technologies, increasing attention has been paid to the various effects induced by environmental decoherence in many-body systems. In this work, we develop several quantum Monte Carlo methods to investigate phenomena such as strong-to-weak symmetry breaking and novel phase transitions in decohered quantum many-body systems. These phenomena cannot emerge in closed systems, and their underlying mechanisms certainly require further understanding and exploration.

报告人简介：

严正，西湖大学物理系研究员。2013年获大连理工大学学士学位，2019年获得复旦大学理论物理博士学位。2019年至2023年在香港大学工作，历任博士后研究员和研究助理教授。课题组主要开展量子多体理论和数值计算方向的研究，以及与之相关的量子模拟/计算、量子材料交叉学科研究。目前发表论文60多篇，其中以一作/通讯发表6篇PRL，5篇NC，1篇PRX Quantum。
